Brackish Water Heating Systems
A leading Global Petroleum company looked to upgrade their Brackish water heating system. The brackish water has high dissolved solids. Mineral scale & potential precipitation led to excessive repair & maintenance of their conventional heat exchanger. They also required metallurgy that could with stand a corrosive fluid environment. They were pleased to see that the PSX Heater has performed very well in this difficult environment. The PSX's I-Series multi-port & radial Jet Diffuser direct steam injector design, along with the low pressure drop across the heater, has allowed them to integrate the heater with minimal fluid velocity disruption.
